AMC from BT HD NOT widescreen on enigma2

AMC from BT standard def is widescreen yetthe HD version is NOT widescreen on my different enigma2 satellite boxes. Vu+

Is this also the case on sky boxes? Or a problem on my end?

All my other channels are widescreen as normal.

That's how it is being broadcast, nothing wrong, A lot of American stuff is 4:3, It should switch to 16:9 when 16:9 content is shown.

No, the SAME programme on the standard def version is widescreen, yet the HD version of same programme is NOT widescreen on HD simulcast.

Its a driver issue regards the Vu+. Email them, the more that do this, they may listen, otherwise could be a long wait.
