cant ftp my et 9500

i just setup my et 9500 but my problem is i cant ftp. am using wlan connection. any help pls

Have you checked IP address is correct.
What credentials are you logging on with?
What program are you using?

my ip address is correct ie the same as the box ip address. am using dcc. for credentials i use root and blank. even if i put the ip address into the web browser i can communicate with the box. if i search the ip in the dcc its doesnt appear, i dont know why.

DCC will not work without a password. Use "password"

Ok will try it 2morow. I really like the box but am getting worried now. I have already sold my single turner which works perfect, now look at me can't watch any football poor me. Anyway will try it later thx

Nothing wrong with the box. It will be a software/configuration issue.

If verythong fails, you can always install samba and use fileexplorer/

Or, install dreamexplorer plugin. Upi can then transfer files using remote.

hiya i try all those options but they didnt work. Bcos u said it will be software issue i try to flash with image vix3.2.004 and vola is working perfectly. want to asked if i upgrade to 005 will it cause any problems. any advice? thx for ur advice anyway.

Use Filezilla, user = root, pass is left blank, assuming you're using OpenViX.

The openvix image does not have a password installed by default. Use anything you like.
