1 year old Vu+ solo 2 remote

strange the past 2/3 week my remote has been playing up e.g
exit only works when i press up or down then exit,
pressing down/up double jumps, 2 moves twice.
enter works once the i have to move for enter to work again.

i have taken the remote apart of see if it had dust/something lodged into it but didnt find anything, still same problem.
i havent changed any settings on tv/solo2.

any ideas?

Are you using some proper batteries. I.e. Duracell Power ones as apposed to crappy non branded ones?

Interference for sure, switch off lamps to start with, low energy bulbs are a pain.

done that the batterys i use are Duracell, also there is nothing new in the room explain that then, also i dont have any lamps, just a ceiling light thats the same bulb . im even thinking about buying a new remote.
i have seen many people saying the same thing interference but nothing has been changed

WOW thanks the batterys work they was just low. they work in everything else, thats mad!. switched tv batts with solo remote and works a treat. its strange as they work with the tv and the solo2 just it going funny.
