New remote design

I just spotted this from the Golden Interstar eBay shop - supposedly a new design robust remote control for the LX1, LX2 & LX3:

Has anyone used this one and if so is it better than the stock one? Half of me is thinking just buy a Harmony but I can't get that past the mrs at the moment!
