    Zero CCcam.cfg

    Hi

I'm just trying to setup my shiny new Zero.

When I try to start my CCcam.2.1.1 and press the green button it just says 'No config files found, please set up CCcam first in/etc/CCam.cfg'

When I go to etc on DCC I don't see CCcam.cfg

Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

just make one yourself and put it in right directory.Pls be aware not to violate forum rules.Name should be CCcam.config in directory etc.

Oh dear I'm trying my best to stay within the forum rules. I didn't think I'd violated them sorry.

I'm pretty new to this ftp stuff. I think I'm messing up trying to create a CCcam.config folder

you don not need a folder.Just make a txt file called CCcam.config and FTP it to /etc folder.May even be an empty file.

    Cool thanks bellejt
I think I've done it. It's my first experience with Enigma2 and Vix. My previous receivers softcams had that file already in there so my FTP usage was minimal unfortunately.
    Cheers

Also it's best to use CCcam 2.3.0

    I see.
I'll give 2.3.0 a try because 2.1.1 isn't working although everything seems setup correctly

I've tried removing 2.2.1 but it's still there and it still remains in DCC too. I've now got 2 softcams in softcam manager but cannot get rid of 2.2.1

Softcam manager now shows both softcams as active but 2.2.1 config files are in DCC and still nothing happens. I removed 2.2.1 but it's still there, however when I go to remove it from remove plugins it's not there. I thought these receivers were supposed to be easy to setup.

Have you tried rebooting your receiver? Hold the power button down and choose restart

    It didn't work I'm afraid.
2.2.1 seems to be stuck in Softcam setup
How do I get rid of 2.2.1?

Menu -> Plugins -> Red button to remove the cam or any other plugin.
If that doesn't work, just manually delete it from /usr/softcams/

Whichever version you instal from teh plugin menu, the config file will not be included.

The file to read your card must be called CCcam.cfg
    Not CCcam.cfg.txt, CCcam.cfg.cfg, Cccam.cfg, cccam.cfg or anything else.

The Red button wouldn't remove it.
I removed 2.2.1 it as you suggested manually
2.30 is the only softcam there now and is now active on my receiver
DCC is green to go and CCcam.config is there but it seems to be retaining the 2.2.1 cccam.config
    Still getting nothing
