    Enigma 2 + XBMC

    Hello folks

I have seen this video on youtube demonstrating what I believe to be a forthcoming firmware for the wetek play which is Enigma 2 based and also has xbmc (linux version no doubt) in the same firmware. Here's the youtube video:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pWLoD5UHTKc

I'm guessing this is a forthcoming image because the only information I have found by googling is that this is work in progress.

Am wondering if anyone in this forum has the privilege is being involved with wetek's testing of this image and has any info on performance and release date?

    Thank you

cool thanks, I look forward to it becoming available. Will be interesting to see what the performance is like. I don't own a the device but will look to buy one if the Enigma2 image turns out to have good performance both for DVB-S2 and XBMC.
    Exciting times ahead!

yeah, this little box is full of surprises...

    i'm loving it.

Sometimes it's difficult to setup things, E2 is way easier.

    but it's different off course
