Looks like stock of these won't be available in the UK until after the ANGA show, so probably around mid-end of June.

Finally received my tuner from Finland (not quite sure how 4 working days turned into 10 normal days?) and I'm made up with it, only requires 1 input for both tuners so I have been able to take my powered splitter out of the run, tested with frequencys I know can cause problems and both tuners run fine side by side. the duo2 is back.

Is this tuner different from the one supplied as standard in the Duo2?

Yes, it is a Dual Cable or dual ariel tuner, the previous tuner was only a single, or maybe you mean the dual satellite tuner in which case it is totally different.

Got my DUAL T2 today, to replace my Single T2 tuner
    So I now have
Vu+ Duo 2 with 4gb internal HD, DUAL S2, DUAL T2 = 4 Tuners... of course you can still record more than one channel on each of them at once (in most cases)

mine came from a uk based sat shop, it was £75
however, i have noticed today that i get less signal strength on tuner C than on tuner D... and the weaker channels that i can get fine with the lead that goes direct to my Freeview HD TV, i cant get with tuner C and Tuner D the signal comes and goes (even with the same lead plugged in)...

when reverting back to a single tuner T2 (the samsung tuner) i get no such issues

    anyone else noticed the same?

cant be that dual is creating so much insertion loss? surely not...

maybe im unlucky and may have a bad batch, in which case its going back to the shop for a replacement

Further to my last post, i wouldnt buy from the company i did... they dont have email support, the password reset option sends you a password which still wont let you in, and when you call they just pick up the phone and put it down... clearly they dont know how to do business... ive not been able to speak to anyone, online or on the phone, and cant email... jokers!

Does the tuner actually tune to the channels, or is there really no stable signal ?

Just wondering if it's a tuner issue, or if it's a driver issue giving a false signal reading.

Good thinking; would indeed not be the first tuner that gives false readings.

I have this tuner but use it in dvb-c mode and it is brilliant, one feed gives very good signal to both tuners, maybe your tuner is faulty?
