There are two way in which to easilly upgrade your SD OpenELEC install.

You *MUST* update WeTek's Android first to the latest version provided via OTA

Upgrade from 5.0.8 SD Card install to Official OpenELEC build 5.9.5.1.

Option 1:
1) Dowload Official OpenELEC build

2) From a PC using SAMBA copy the complete .tar file to update directory

3) Reboot your Wetek Play, your installation will then get automatically upgraded.

Option 2:
1) Go to your existing OpenELEC install and make sure SSH is enable. Settings > OpenELEC > Services, ensure SSH is enabled.
2) Using WinSCP (

) connect to your Wetek Play, user name = root, pass = openelec
3) Upload the complete .tar file to .update.

4) Reboot your Wetek Play, your installation will then get automatically upgraded.
