    Screen adjustment

On initial setup I was taken to a test card to check picture position onscreen. I'm running Vix, Hades 007. The manual says to go to OSD/OSD to find it but I don't have those things in my menus. Any help folks?

Can you note the following please?

Thread will be moved to the ViX-Team-Images-Support-Discussion section. It is best to use the image support section for image issues as problems/solutions are usually the same irrespectve of receiver. It also helps others searching for the same issue although they may have another receiver.

Please read the thread in link below which explains things better.

No harm has been done, no need to apologise. Please bear in mind for future support questions.
For Plugin Support, we have a section for that too.

May I add a question of my own, please?

After a great deal of help on this forum I bought a TM-NANO-SE many months ago Which I have only now been able to install.

It is connected to my Samsung 46" TV. When I'm watching Freeview channels on my TV, the picture size is correct.

However, when I switch to watching any of my satellite channels, the picture size is larger than the TV screen. This is true of the EPG too, with the effect that the left-hand side of the EPG is off-screen. I need to reduce the picture size in order to fit it on to the screen.

I have tried following the setup instructions by going in to Setup/System Configuration/A/V Settings & altering the Display 4:3 Display 16:9 settings.

However, when I change the settings (Pillarbox/Pan&Scan/Just Scale/Nonlinear) & press the OK button, when I try to come out of the sub-menu, it asks me if I want to exit without changing the settings. If I click 'No', it takes me back to the screen. If I click 'Yes', it takes me out of the screen but leaving the original settings unaltered.

I'm obviously doing something very wrong.

You really should turn off 'overscan' on your TV.
    See
    Code:

Some services do that (sometimes). Just don't look at that line and it won't bother you
