Is it possible to get the DUO to check, and update the software if available on a daily basis. Would be great to see this as part of the Image. Can it be done as a cron Thanks Alan
Im sure this can be done...However some users may be happy with what they have and not want to take updates...
Cron job will /should be doable.

Have no idea how to create a cron job for this if anyone can I would really appreciate some guidance on this Thanks
You would need to use the 'opkg update' and 'opkg upgrade' command.
Obviously there should be some intelligence put in the script so that it reboots when needed, upgrades only when updates are available.
Once the script is created...you can then set up the cron job.

If some updates are halfway through being uploaded and you do a software update, you could end up with a receiver not booting and have to re-flash
