    Advice

    Hi all
    I have a vu+ Uno purchased from the board sponsor, If i were to purchase
    A cable tuner for the sponsors for the uno would i be able to watch the fta channels on cable.
    I,m with VM at the moment, using vix image.

    Yes it would work, but you would have to remove the satellite tuner and then you lose all your satellite channels.

    So I don't see the point of swapping to a cable tuner, as you already get the same channels through your current satellite feed. Additionally you lose all the satellite FTA HD channels as all HD channels (including BBC HD, etc) are scrambled on VM.

    You can't get any of the scrambled VM channels without professional equipment.
