Thinking of buying one of these boxes... couple of questions

Is there a led light on front?

How long is the ir extension cable?

For recording... would it be reliable to record to my mutant over nfs? Or would I be better getting a powered caddy?

    Many thanks

Install SAMBA on both machines via the network sub menu in ViX then, network them together. once thats done you can record and view recordings on any of them.

Well.... after finally getting money together ive decided to go for the nano-se.

After having a look at the specs between the zero and nano se, the nano-se edges out a wee bit more.

My spare boxes are starting to pile up lol, got a vu solo, giga se 800 hd and a vu duo, did have a giga quad but gave that to my mate.
