    TM-Nano-3T

    Hi everyone,

I plan on buying the TM-Nano-3T very soon, after being on the cable side for almost 8 years.
I would still like to stay on the cable side.
I have a few questions that I would like to ask the forum.

What image would you recommend for W.O.S to install on the box?? I would also like to stream to my pc/laptop if that is possible??
I will use the cable tuner. Now I also have a sly dish wire only the 1 in my living room woud I need a 2 in 1 splitter to split it and fit in to the combo tuners to get the most out of the box?

Thanks for your time and your help..

Welcome. You cannot split a satellite cable. Best to run a separate cable from the LNB.

Internal loop through adds a a bit more functionality, but not as good as separate cable.

Vu+ Solo SE is a single tuner box, so for what you require you would be best going for the technomate 3T combo.
Vu+ Ultimo 4K with 3TB HDD, Dual FBC (Sat) tuners, 1x Twin Hybrid DVB-C/T/T2 tuner
Vu+ Solo 4K with 1TB HDD, Dual FBC (Sat) tuners, 1x Hybrid DVB-C/T/T2 tuner
    Vu+ Solo 2 with 1TB HDD 'White Edition', 2x DVB-S2 tuners
    Mut@nt HD2400 with 1TB HDD, 4x DVB-S2 tuners
Fixed 28.2E Technomate 65cm Mesh Satellite Dish with Inverto Unicable II/JESS LNB and Inverto Unicable Splitter
Fixed 28.2E Sky Zone 1 45cm Satellite Dish with Octo LNB
(All receivers installed with the latest Dev build)

I think you will find that the majority of people here will recommend Vix as being the best image. (Especially as this forum is the 'Home Of The Vix Team')

Anyone know how to set up ABM on vix image so I don't always have to scan the cable side of the channels?

I am closing this thread. Best to start a new thread for different issues

I have moved the streaming posts to a new thread. http://www.world-of-satellite.com/sh...l=1#post346660

    Please note following:

It is best to use the image support section for image issues as problems/solutions are usually the same irrespectve of receiver. It also helps others searching for the same issue although they may have another receiver.

Please read the thread in link below which explains things better.
