VU+ Solo - gets stuck when rebooting

Box is giving great service but sometimes when I've done a software upgrade it doesn't reboot cleanly, neading a reset or maybe two.

Any idea what the issue might be?

No real way to know without seeing some debug or serial logs. But do you have a hard drive attached or any thing else while the receiver is updating ?.

Just a usb flash drive. It's a bit odd as the fault is inconsistant.

Try without the USB stick installed (presuming your updating using the online option and not the USB stick). It could be that the receiver is performing a check disk on the USB stick, but we would not be able to confirm that without a bootlog.
