    Thumb Drive

    I can't figure out how to flash my zero with a file from my usb. I've done others where I have the receiver off and insert usb and power up but it doesn't seem to work with the file I want to transfer.
    3m channel master mesh-psi x2 lnbf-24"vonweise actuator-pansat ap3500 positioner-X2 Premium III-Vu+Solo2.

    2.4m fortec solid-esx 241 lnbf circular-amiko l104 lnbf-24"vonweise actuator-vbox 7 positioner-Azbox ultra-Technomate 5402 M1-Dreambox 800 hd.

    What is the folder structure of the image you are trying to flash?

    It's an openpli file from EB at the NA site. I've done this many times without issues but this one doesn't seem to take.

    so are you trying to flash a Pli image ?. if so as Abu suggested above what is the file structure on the USB stick ?.

    Also CC if you still have ViX installed on the receiver you could try flashing the new image using the couch flash method.

    Copy the entire image file on to the USB stick (still compressed in a .zip file) and insert it into the USB port on the receiver.

    Now press the blue button on the remote and navigate to ViX> Image manager.
    press menu and change the backup location with the left and right buttons to point to the USB stick (it may be detected as /media/hdd/
    press the green button to save then select the image you want to flash and press the blue button (restore) to flash it.

    sounds like the image is either corrupt or not in the correct format.

    Try this version from the pli download site.
