Looking for lad and VFD guide on creating own config.

I want to clean up the display on the front of my new duo 2. I would like a full screen picon on the LCD showing the channel and on the VFD I would like to see the current show, remaining time and the current time.

Is there anyway to program this and if so are there any guides around?

So - the LCD, just use LCD4Linux either through openwebif or on the box.
For the VFD, install a couple of the ones in the plugin, then you can start to work out how the XML for the VFD works and start tweaking till you get something you want.
