    Multi-transcoder plugin

Just wondering which manufacturers distribute with this over the transcoding plugin?

Only ever seen one manufacturer bragging about this feature so far, no idea if & how well it works though...

it's a plug on some manufacturers E2 boxes that is instead of the 'normal' transcoding plugin.
If behaves a little differently in that both streaming and transcoding are on port 8001, and you can specify URL parameters (incorrectly implemented I should add) to specify the transcoding parameters.

From what I've seen, it appears to mess up straight streaming somewhat so must be doing something even when no 'transcoding' url parameters are applied.
