    Changing image

I have a Uno with a Open PLi 3 image and I would now like to try the Vix image. I have a hdd installed with several movies on it and was wondering if I would lose the settings for my hdd when installing the new image? If so, is there a way to save these settings so that I can ftp them from the backup and on to the Uno after the Vix image is installed?

A settings backup from one image is not compatible with another, but you can keep it safe incase you decide to go back to the image it was made from, as for movies and other media on your HDD, no you wont loose any of that.
