    Couch Flashing

Has anyone got this method working on their receiver?

I know the Software Update method is not working on the newest TM's but I can't get the Image Manager method to work.

Currently on OpenVix 107, USB flashed. Tried it from 100 and from 107. I download, yellow button, from Image Manager, and 109 shows up. I highlight 109 zip then press Blue to Restore but it just creates an Image Restore.
    Am I missing something?

You can update from 106 onwards, it will be fine. You will only get an issue if teh kernel needs to be rebuilt.

I'll test the Image Manager flash later

Just tried Image Manager again from 107 but no joy. I also did a settings backup of 107, then did a factory reset but the backup will not restore, just keeps looping on backup check. Cycled power on box and it reverted to the pre factory reset settings.

Image Manager is not working. Please forget about it until it is fixed. I have rasied a bug report and it is being investigated.

As said previously, if you are on 106 or newer on a TM 3T Combo or TM N2S, you can update online (until next time the kernel is rebuilt if post inst file is not corrected.)

Menu > Setup > Software update

If you perform an online update, there is no need to restore.
