    Blindscan Trouble

My blindscan works fine on C Band and on Ku IF using a universal dual band LNB. LO 9750/10600.
But I have several single band LNBs in service that will not work when keying in the value 10750 need for these to work. Seems the 10750 may be out of range with the software limits.

p.s the receiver is question is the Atemo nemesis and while we do not officially have a image for this receiver he does use Pli and ATV
images frequently with their blindscan applications.

First of all: your box is quite new on the market and I know there are (probably driver related) issues with the tuners. Especially there are issues in the area of compatibility with switches amd LNB commands.
    So my questions:
    1- do you use switches?
2- do you use the latest drivers? In fact: which image do you use?

I'm not sure this is driver related rob, a few users on his home forum also report the same with the Vu+ Duo2 and other E2 based receivers.

Nor am I, but we first need to know if his setup works at all.

    1) I have one 8X1 diesqc 1.1 switch in the system, verified it is addressed properly and switching.
    2) Currently running openatv-4.2-atemionemesis-20141030_usb and I have tried atemio4you-2.3.4-atemionemesis-20141125_usb

OK, can you confirm that both switch & LNB respond correct? So e.g. changing to transponders on High/Low - Hor/Vert works fine?
In my experience (but that might be switch and/or LNB dependant) it is sometimes required to zap several times before the LNB actually responds correct.
Sorry for persisting in this, but this needs to be fine for any blindscan to be successful.

Using manual scan the receiver selected the correct switch port, and can scan in a TP from the lnb.

Sorry if I am not answering your questions properly in English. But I am quite sure that the switch, lnb, high/low, horz/vert are all working fine. I have the settings to zap the lnb 3 times.
I blind scanned in 72 channels on 103w Ku from my fixed dish with single 10750 lnb. Here are screen shots of the settings.

As you can see I used the settings for a 9750/10600 universal dual band lnb. All the channels scan in, but have the wrong frequency displayed.
10750 would be the desired LO setting, but I get nothing in any combination doing that. The value of 10750 must be out of range for this software.

The closed source binary (from the manufacturer) is written for a universal LNB. The only reason C-band 5150 LO LNBs work is because we added a workaround. If you want to use an LNB other than universal you will need to add another workaround in the plugin.

    Huevos,

Ok, sounds good. Where do I get a workaround for the plugin.

You would have to write it yourself, just like we had to, to get C-band working.
