    CrossEpg Issues

    Hi

Maybe a support or a possible bug.

I have updated all the providers on crossepg and selected openatv 28.2e as epg source. i then made sure location for epg is set to my hdd and i can see the folder created and some files in their which suggests something is happening.

Issues are it is reading data and then within a minute saving and loading data. it don't seem to be downloading epg data correctly.

iv never really had any issues with crossepg before so not sure what can be done to fix this issue.

    can anyone help me?

i used ABM to get vm channel lists and AB to get sat

Opentv won't provide epg info for VM, only for your sat bouquet.

I have latest version 090 and have no problems with ABM or EPG using OpenTV.

For VM EPG you need to select yes to "Enable Virgin EPG" within System > EPG > Settings. It will then take a little while to populate I believe. A quicker way is also to download plugin (I think you can get from Vix feeds) "EPG Refresh".

Attached are my settings for $ky UK EPG.

What are your settings. Please explain so others understand what settings you have.

Maybe screen shots of your setup would help. Others are providing theirs to help you. But you are providng very little

If your next post is vague and has very little information, thread may be closed.

What image are you on? Name and number please.

What is your tuner config? i,e

    How many tuner modules?
What type of module, single/twin, cable /sat
What is conencted to each module?
What is each tuner set as?

If there is a mismatch in your tuner config, it won't tune to the frequency.

Crossepg downloader is not involved in the acquiring of Virgin EPG data off the stream.

What about rest of questions. You may think they do not matter, but they do.
