Total Commander (+FTP plugin installed) : root + dreambox input and that is all, should work.

Yes try refashing the image, no you wont need a bootloader as the sponsor would have done that prior to shipping when he flashed the image in the first place.

    Anyone could help??
With a computer in windows > start > run > ping xxx.xxx.x.xxx the x's are your IP address to see if it is seeing your Box address. If OK then it is a matter of filling in the info correctly.

I've always used user name 'root' and password as well 'root' on my GigaBlue HD Quad Plus with OpenVIX, and has worked every time. Except for the recent OpenVIX images (since Apollo 25 or so) which do not support my wifi dongle. But using OpenMIPS or OpenATV also same user name and password do the thing.
