    smargo and Vu+ ?

    Hi
    I have 2 cards in slots and want to add a third with smargo reader in back usb slot,how do i do it?
    I have gone into blue panal then settings then kernel modules and turned smargo and other usb card readers to yes,but cant see card in entitlements.

    I've not had a chance to test a smargo on VU+ Duo yet, but off the top of my head I think you may need to add a line something like this to your CCcam.cfg: -

    SMARTCARD CLOCK FREQUENCY: /dev/ttsUSB0 XXX0000 <<< Replace the XXX the spead, e.g 357, 600 etc..

    You also need to set the smargo to:-

    Autoswitch
    Dreambox
    T=0
    EGT 0

    With the software on the link below, using a windows PC.

    this is what i get in CCcam info:
    card reader /dev/usb/tts/0
    no or unknown card inserted

    Did you use the config line I posted above? If so I dont understand why your getting /dev/usb/tts/0

    Look closely at the config line: -

    SMARTCARD CLOCK FREQUENCY: /dev/ttsUSB0
    XXX0000 <<< Replace the XXX the spead, e.g 357, 600 etc..

    I have tried your config line and the other from other forum,this is using yours:
    card reader /dev/ttsUSB0
    no or unknown card inserted

    did it work with this settings in cccam,cfg file ?

    SERIAL READER : /dev/usb/tts/0 smartreader+
    SMARTCARD CLOCK FREQUENCY: /dev/usb/tts/0 6000000

    I was putting the confg lines in example and no removing the hash.

    Does /dev/ttyUSB0 6000000 work then? I thought it had to be /dev/ttsUSB0 6000000 on VU+ or Dreambox. Can you confirm please.

    I confirm they work for me in my Vu+,I have 3 locals in and adding a fourth next week.

    Ignore tts, I believe that was used with with earlier dreambox kernals.
