It does work, there is more than enough info on these forums as it is, get your cable working first, there is a post by Bassethound with a working config, then create another user group for sat. dvbapiuser is your missing link.

There is no information on this forum on how to get your own cable card working in oscam. The information referred to above is for other methods.
You should be able to get your Skycard to work in oscam - but you need to read up how to set up the oscam.conf, server & user files.
I don't understand why you have mentioned newcamd.list - that file is only needed for other methods, and not what you asked about in your first post.

You need to add the lines needed to update your card:
Add the line au = 1 to the [dvbapi] section.
Add the line au = skyuk to the [account] user = dvbapiuser section.
Restart your box and leave it on Sky One overight - if you are lucky (and if your card is still valid) you should get an EMM.
I have read many oscam guides and I have never seen one guide that lists all the lines necessary to get cards to update.
I will add that you might as well remove all the sections in your configuration files about your cable card - no one on this forum has the necessary knowledge to get a UK cable card to work in oscam.
