    He offered £205 and you said you wanted £220 which I then offered..

    Surely his subsequent offer of £220 would only come after any deal with me didn't work out?

    Yes, as mcquaim made the first offer of the asking price, he should have been given reasonable time to agree a payment before someone else offered the same and an offer was accepted.

    Can i have my say. It does state under section 6 something about being in dialogue, someone else not slowed to make an offer? We were discussing the offer at the time! Cheers

    Under section 6-
    *However, the potential purchaser in dialogue has a 30 minute period in which to agree to that offer before other parties may 'jump in' offering that new price to secure the sale.*

    Good points, mcquaim did make the offer of the full price an hour after your lower offer though.
    I'd leave it to someone who knows the rules better than me to decide.
