Low audio volume on Freeview channles ( DVB-T2 tunner )

    Hello

    I got an LX3 with 2xDVB-S2 and 1xDVB-T2 tuners.

when i watch or record a channel from the T2 tuner the volume of the audio is much lower than on the same channel from the S2 tuner. I would say that it is 30% lower

I could of course just turn the volume up when i watch something on T2 but A it is slightly annoying and B i am wondering if i have a faulty tuner.

Has anybody else the same issue?

Thanks in advance for your answers

I have just done a test between my sat and cable on BBC News 24 on my LX3 and the volume sounds exactly the same on both channels

On closer inspection it seems that it is the HD channels that have this problem, on the SD ones the level of sound seems on a par with the S2 tuners

The problem must be box or image related because I do not get this problem on my DVB-T2 TV with built in tuner, but I do get on my LX3.

May be related to the fact that HD channels on Freeview are using the AAC codec for sound. The drivers may not be producing same sound level as MP2 used on SD channels. Freesat uses MP2 or AC3 on HD depending on programme material so may be a discrepancy between output levels on different decoders.

    Thanks, adm.
Or, combining the two to get what I really intended:

(It seems that Firefox has a bug working out anchors in CGI pages?)
