    advice needed

    Hi, i'm having a few problems with my new miraclebox twin, i'm using the latest vix image, it was bought from wos, i had a hard drive installed which doesn't seem to be working right, showing only 11% remaining when there is only one recording on it, is there a way to turn the hard drive off temporarily? i just want to try a few things.

    Just take the lid off the receiver and physically unplug the HDD.

    That sorted it, faulty hard drive, the shop is closed for holidays so can't tell them at the moment, is it ok to connect my external hard drive from my solo2 for now?

    Try re-initallising the hard drive. Menu > Setup > System > Storage Devices > Initialisation > Select your HDD and press OK > Press RED to intialise.
