Hope someone can help me, I have just flashed my box to image Hades 018 and set it up to use SKY (SD) abm. I've set it to swap SD channels with HD but its not swapping the channels. 104 Channel 4 is still SD version and 227 is HD version. Its the same for other channels too. BBC1/ITV etc

It's built into the latest image now so you need to select your region with custom on it & that will sort it out

ETA: You'll need to run ABM again once your custom region has been selected btw.

Hi Dude - if i use the default 'SKY UK' abm provider i choose the area i'm in (London HD) and set swap channels. After doing a scan yes all channels are now HD but this includes sky HD channels that do not work. the ZZL provider only swapped the HD channels that actually worked. Am i doing something wrong?

That is because you are using the ZZL file. You should be using the file that comes with the image. I.e. "Sky UK".

I feel like such a numpty, was going through the regions on that provider and all i could see was 'HD' at the end of all the London areas not realising you have to go to the end. Thank you so much, this has been driving me crazy for days

I am closing this thread now. The "skip unavailable HD chanenls" coding that ZoomZoomLuke introduced has been in main xml file since Hades was released. There are three types of each location. Please look at the end of the location name. I am using London as an example:

    1. London HD
Almost exact lineup as on an offcial HD receiver

    2. London SD
Almost exact lineup as on an offcial SD receiver

    3. London Custom
Numbering is the same as an official SD receiver.
    Unavailable HD channels are skipped.
Other hacks come into play such as "not indexed" (extra chanels from other regions as well as test channels)
    Other channels are inserted such

You can reach the custom variant quicker by scrolling left instaed of right.

If you need support with ABM, please attach debug logs as per this thread: http://www.world-of-satellite.com/sh...port-questions
It will help to get you support quicker.
