    Which box? hybrid any good?

Currently I have a sly MK 4 fixed dish and a humax HDR freesat box. I have vermin broadband, and vpyr VPN setup. I also have a dedicated HTPC for watching movies.

I have been thinking of getting a new box for a while, but I am not sure what to get. What I want to get out of it is to have something to play around with and any extra channels are a bonus.

I am not bothered about twin satellite tunners, But a DVD-s2 & DVD-c tuner hybrid sounds interesting. Do these work well on cable? are they worth getting? I am currently looking at the following:

    hybrid tuners:

    miraclebox mini premium
    gigablue hd800se +

    or

    technomate nano or
skystar PCI card for the HTPC

I don't want to spend a lot of money.

What are your thoughts? might help me make up my mind.....
