Apollo release

It's a known issue on Helios build 017, it's simply a missing bootlogo file, dont worry it wont affect the running of the image, Apollo is in the very final stages of testing now, without going into ETA's as we cant do that, the release should be very near now.

Feel free to release it when you are satisfied but nothing is ever perfect , so others will follow the first.
(i know it because i still fine tune my 14 yrs old motorised dish)

Its on openvix.co.uk now, ill sort the release thread a little later, (just started my shift at work so need to wait a while befote I can slack off)

There is no reason to forgo installing the image just because the changelog has not yet been posted.

watching tv for the moment so installing has to wait a bit.Need to make a BU first to reload settings afterwords.

Just wondering when and if driver issues get fixed for tm boxes will it be on heios or new appolo image.

Stay on Zeus for now when using TM boxes.
We are testing new drivers & still waiting on bug fixes from TM.

Apollo along with all other receivers we offer support to, Helios updates have now been stopped.

did a full backup from helios 017 and flashed new image.No possibility to recover old settings : image not compatible.Need to install all again.

Worked fine for me that last time i checked, although I dont tend to use settings backups too often, I prefer to fresh setup in most cases.

Oh well... still issues with TM and drivers, always takes the excitement out of a new release for me.. lets hope when it is finally available we get rid of the pink screen that is currently the bain of my life. starting to regret getting the Twin over the Duo now

we are getting there slowly, the main thing is they are actually acknowledging that there are problems for a change, so it's just a matter of them fixing them now.
