Is my screen supposed to blank out while cross is running

Hi sorry for what is probably as stupid question, I have been running cross for over a year now and always wondered about the above, if I have a free tuner why it doesn't use that and let me continue to watch what is on the other tuner ?

    Thanks

    Robert

could be a number of things, such as incorrectly setup tuners. ABM always uses a free tuner on my receivers, barring those receivers that are only single tuners that is.

Then please update to Helios (build 16/17), as some functions have been updated.

Can you also confrm that you have a motorised sytem with twin LNB?

Just so you are aware, you can take screen shots using the following in your web browser, roght click and save the picture. Repalce the x so it matches your receiver's IP
    Code:

And when the screen 'blacks out': were you then watching a channel on 28.2E?

It is possible that Cross isn't 'smart' enough to understand your tuner setup.
For experimental purposes: could you set 'preferred tuner' in 'Customise' to tuner B and see if the issue is still the same? And make sure live-tv indeed uses tuner B before starting Cross?

What channel were you on before you run crossepg downloader? I can find this servcie refernce, whch does not seem to be 28.2. I may be wrong. 1_0_19_22C5_80D_2_11A2B10_0_0_0

Edit: Ignore please. Previous post mentions BBC HD.

Ok update, on a clean flash with Helios with no back up before I instal any channel lists if I run crossepg the splash screen stays while I download the data so I assume this is working okay, then when I have installed my channel list (catseye motor) and run crossepg it reverts back to a blank screen.

Also if I am recording something on tuner A and run crossepg it blanks the screen till it's loading the data
