Recording onto DVD/Blu ray for archiving..is it possible?

Hi, just wondering if anyone has any experience of burning to disc via say an external usb burner attached to the vu duo2?
i know the files tend to record in .ts format. is this a format useable on normal dvd/blu ray players?
is there any macrovision/hd recording blocking to take into account?
and if so, is there any particular models that work well with openvix zeus?
    any help appreciated?

There is a plugin for writing to DVD (DVD-burn or so). Search the forum and you'll find reports of people using that successfully.

Help asked via PM will be ignored.
