on openwebif there is stream and transcode a channel, what is the difference?
I ask because when i try stream to my iPhone the vu duo2 hangs, just the spinner.
if i use transcode it works fine I can watch on iPhone.

    hope this is clearer

I have a similar problem. Using openwebif on pc, I have transcode and stream. My PC is hardwired on 60gb broadband. The streaming used to work fine but now freezes every 1 second and is unwatchable.
I have not changed anything on my duo2 since it was working fine. Only things that change are auto updates on channel list and epg. The transcode version works fine as it is a much lower quality stream.
I use VLC, I am putting it down to virgin media suddenly zapping my bandwith when I open streaming only.

Both tested with BBC 1 SD.

hi, i have a tm twin and so am not able to transcode, the problem that i find is that if i stream on only one device the stream is perfectly fine, with maybe a tiny glitch every now and then, but when i try to stream the same channel on a second device, the whole thing freezes and becomes unwatchable on the two streams. is this because of a hardware limitation or internet speed or something else? if anyone knows whats wrong or how to resolve this, id really appreciate it..
    thanks
