    usb not recognised

    sorry its not usb its hdd


    hi just put a 3.5 inch

    seagate 500gb hdd in straight from a sky+ box into a tm2t nano but its not there at all do i need to format it first before it goes into the tm2t or will it just not work at all cheers ive connected it with the wide sata/power cable cheers

    It should be automatically recognized, is there any way you can first format it with a pc / laptop ?, see if that works.

    Try initializing it in the image first as judge posted in your other thread, if that does not work try formatting it in a pc then initialize it again in the image.
