    TM-Nano-2T stuck in Booting

    Hi Everyone,

My Technomate TM-NANO-2T which is less than 2 months old has developed a problem after leaving it unplugged for a week. It was on the latest build before Zeus. When starting it back up on Saturday I noticed that the box was quite slow to navigate around. It also would not latch onto a clear satellite signal and it took about 4-5 attempts to download the AutoBouquet list. SD channels were working but HD channels would come up with 'Tune Error'. I decided to reset to Factory settings and then again took a few attempts at trying to find the correct satellite. Also the box would not go past 28% when powering up with the network cable plugged in.

Alas I thought let me try and reflash the box. Could not recognise the USB on startup (formatted to FAT32 and worked on my VU Solo2 with respective image). So then I proceeded to reflash system using the function in the VIX menu. Downloaded and when it started to reflash it seemed to get stuck at 48%. I had to switch the box off at the back and then try again.

Now the box only shows 'Booting.....' on the front display and the black and white Open Vix logo. I've tried reflashing the image and also the bootloader but it's just not recognising the USB. Have tried holding the Menu button on the remote, the Exit button and nada! Please help! I've left a message at sponsor so hopefully can get some help from there as well.

    Many thanks in advance.

I have seven sandisc cruzer blade 4 gig sticks and all of them work flawlessly on my three TM'S as well as my Vu's.

    Hi guys,

Thanks for all of your messages. I've got to the bottom of the issue. It was the USB stick. I purchased a VU+ box with a spare USB from sponsor last week so decided to give that a go. Sponsor shipped a Kingston 8GB (when I ordered a 4GB - thanks!) and it worked a treat! I guess different boxes prefer different USB sticks as the old one worked on my VU+ boxes.
