There's an option in the movie menu list to "hide known extensions"

I am also having the same issue with Tsmedia 5.0 however I am unable to re-name the files via ftp. I am running it on the vu+ duo2. When I ftp in I can see the files downloaded to the box minus the file extension however if I try and change the extension I get access denied, I am unable to re-name or delete the file, In fact I cant do anything with it!!

Any help or advice what I can do to rectify this would be most appreciated, thanks.
