You are both missing the point
The Quad was/is a very good box BUT (and a very big one) it DID NOT do all the things GB "claimed" it would do when it was relesead
In fact it was missing the actual hardware!!!!!!! this was then added in the Quad plus

Love it.
Gblan and transcoding are/were in the specs but don't work and because I have never needed either, the Quad is perfect for my (novice&#128540 set up.

And I expect to still be a novice 10 years from now🙊

I received my quad plus today and I know its a touchy subject but if you send me a image I can test.Obviously for me only.

We'll testing quad plus .Its very fast with channel switching ,downloading plugins and rebooting but is in dire need of zeusing up.

Hi Hilly, can you tell me if the quad plus can accept a 3.5 HDD?

Any news on when WOS will have them in stock?

Only external HDD I think ,but I got a sata cable with it so I might open up tomorrow and have a look inside.Plenty USB slots ,its really fast changing channels going through menus etc .

This picture is from a set of pics associated with the plus but when I get in from work I will open it up and see for my self.


On a closer look I think that's the quad not the plus cos the new one has 2 USB under the Ethernet port and a further USB running down wards next to them.
