I have been struggling for a while to find my ideal Linux receiver, so I found this thread particularly interesting. I have been looking for a receiver that takes 1 x satellite feed + 1 x UHF feed, with an internal hard drive. The only answer appeared to be the Vue+ Duo2, which is too expensive for me. I was reluctant to go for the Gigablue Quad, because I thought its processor was already behind the times. However, the new Quad Plus appears to tick all my boxes for €300 (apart from its continental plug & lack of English instructions).
    Does anyone have any views?
Why cannot it be bought from our sponsor? It only appears to be available elsewhere at the moment?

Agree Marty.. Had a lucky escape with a quad myself. Switched to DUO2 and never regretted it.
DUO2 is a dear box but its a keeper (6 tuners and never an issue).
My old DM 7020 is still running after 8-9 years so you get what you pay for...

Anyone know if WOS will have these in stock tomorrow? When I have tried to check I get this message
    Server error

The server for*http://www.world-of-satellite.co.uk/...Receivers*took too long to respond. It may be overloaded.

GB Quad plus models are not going to be released until end of this month at the earliest, Gigablue themselves have zero stock of these, no one has stock.

All the various Germans retailers "claim" they will have stock from 7th April. I'm guessing all retailers will receive stock a day or two before then?
