    Quad plus

    Available 14/03 price 299 Euros .seems a good alternative to a pricey vu duo2 .

    Not totally sure how these features add to box.
    Gigabit ethernet will this be a faster connection.
    1gb of ram is this the actual flash memory making it a faster box because its 512mb of nand ????.

    What are the improvements from the original quad? Will vix be providing an image from release or how soon after will there be a vix image available?

    Will there be a vix image for the quad plus on release date?
    I know the vix team don't want to give to much away about the new image but at the same time I don't want to leave the wife with an image she can't use.

    We do have a working image for the quad plus but I dont know the current status of it as I dont use a gigablue or keep up with gigablue developments.

    And i just bought the VU+Solo2 because i could not get the Gigablue Quad now they bring out a box that is supposed to do what the original promised but better i will stick with my solo2 until i can persuade our lass to get rid of the virgin box in the front room - i am not daft i have my own room at the back

    The GBQuad+ box can't really be tested till they exist (atleast in testing teams).
    Can't see why we wouldn't support them except for driver issues.
    And if it's down to driver issues, GB really need to get more involved with folks wiling to test their boxes...
