to get a quad ultimo, you would have 1xdvb-s2, 1xdvb-s2, 1xtwin dvb-s2.

Yes, he did not mention USB tuners.
He has two twin tuners and one empty slot.
Not possible only tuner c supports twin tuners

I think the confusion is that the tuners have 2 connectors each but the bottom ones are loopthrough

As maxwell correctly says the Ultimo can support quad dvb-s/s2 tuners but only one of those can be a twin tuner, the other two must be single tuners.

Yes you are right Pheonix just had a look, 2 single and a twin tuner still a Ultimo quad with 2 tb hard drive and 2 remotes. Whats it worth and what would be p&p on this ?.

Nope; the Ultimo only supports one dual-tuner board.
