    To do it yourself requires strong nerves, steady hands and the knowledge of where the sensitive components are located for your Ipad model (each model is slightly different).... it's all on the internet, but in the end I paid a 100 euro's to have it done!
    Looks good as new!

    Cheers. Was that done by official Apple store, or one of the local shops who do repairs?

    Sent an email to one local shop to see how much, and will call around in the morning...

    I am in Munich area, where there are about 4 dealers that will do this repair - 1 was an apple approved store (but not an Apple Store)....it's a lot cheaper than the almost full price Apple replacement repair!
    A google should show up who is available where you live.
