Problems trying to install fresh image

    Hi All
Im having a problem trying to install a fresh copy of vix i have followed the guides on here but still no luck.
I formated the usb to fat32 copied the folder xp1000 to the root of the usb and inserted it in to the back of the SF8 and turned it on but it doesn't load the usb it just loads up the SF8 firmware i have on there.
Anyone know what im doing wrong is the folder suppose to be xp1000?
I have a VU+ Duo2 always updated to the latest Vix build using the default skin.

Thanks for the info i have now tried it with 2 sandisk 8gb & 16gb and a Verbatim usb stick, still nothing.
Do i copy the whole folder over to the root (like on my vu) or just the files?

    DONE
i over looked theses important steps thinking it would work without them.
    4. HP Format tool ( not essential but highly recommended )
    5. Teracopy ( again not essential but highly recommended )
