I have had the octagon sf8 running now for a few days and I must say its a superb little box, hasn't missed a beat yet!

The best thing about this box though is its remote, much more user friendly layout and the buttons have a very nice clicky and responsive feel. Very pleased with it.

The vu+ solo2 is without doubt my favourite box, like the octagon it hasn't faulted me at all.

It's remote has a nice weight to it and is well made, but the layout of it is pants! Plus the button don't feel as responsive.

Anyway just my two cents!!
