New drivers are public, initrd needs an adjustment by images coders but we can test.drivers that can fix dts problems. No news about transcoding or pink screens or cams yet

I know your saying that the DTS-HD support is still not working Marty but did you notice a difference in zap speed and do your recordings still work?

Zap speed doesn't seem any different to me (didn't think it was too bad anyway if I'm honest)
As for recordings old ones are OK, haven't made any new ones since putting on the new drivers.

Ah right, I'll give these drivers a go tonight. I've had major issues with recordings failing and sitting at zero on any driver later than the 2nd of November so it would be nice if this new driver resolves this.

I never found zap speed an issue either but if you use a solo 2 it definitely appears to zap quicker than the quad.

when i get home from work later it'll be the first thing i do

did you try different movies with dts-hd or just the one?

i cant see there being much difference between dts-hd tracks though, but i'll test a few movies to check it out. only 5.1 and 7.1 difference really. but i dont have a 7.1 setup.

I find the HD audio has more "depth/feel" to it, only got one movie to test at this time but it is DTS-HD (plays as DTS-HD via USB on my blueray player) The quad even says its DTS-HD (I'll get a screenshot in a mo)

I have a few 7.1 blurays, not a massive difference over 5.1 but you can tell there is a defference.
