Question Default Login and password for VU+ Solo2 with OpenPLi

I have a VU+ Solo2 receiver with OpenPLi installed on it. Any idea what is the default login and password for FTPing to the box?

Is Cccam installed by default in this image? If yes, how to edit the Cccam.cfg file? Also which FTP client is the best for this?

No idea what the default pass is.. User should be " root " .. Leave password blank..

Id say no .. Probably nom softcams installed..

As for FTP programmes.. Dreambox Control Centre.. FileZilla.. Smart FTP.. WinSCP.. etc etc..

All are much of a much-ness.. Any one will do your job..

    Hi,
password is blank (no password). CCcam is installed by default. cfg must be copied to/from /etc. You must use a "linux" editor like notepad++. If you use standard editor from windows the cfg will be at least partly ignored.

Where is the CCcam.cfg file located? Can I just double click on the file and edit the config file?

In the parental control setup, I enabled parental control. But where could I enter the pin for this?

Also how to change the date. I changed the time zone. But the date is still 1 Jan 1970 !

the date and time will update itself from transponder as soon as you get a channel up.
the parental settings are all within the menus/set up /system and so on

i personally use dreambox control centre to talk to my box/ftp.When you have a ftp programme installed
the ccam config file is in the ETC folder..keep going down the contents till you get to it as its quite away down....right click on ccam config and select edit from dropdown menu and ccam config will open in edit mode then just delete everything and enter your own information and save.

only dumb receiver have such an option. Why change it manually when it is easier to get the time/date OTA?

There is no option "Time" in Setup/System. Do I have to install a plugin or extension to edit time on the box?

    Hi,
you cannot set the time. Time is taken either from sat transponder, cable/dvb-t channel or ntp server in the internet. Why you you want to set the time manually when it is done automatically?

    Time settings are in :

Menu > Set Up > System > Time Settings..

Buy as Trial and AJT have already said.. Your time will come from the transponder when you select your channels..
