VU Uno not Booting Up - Red Light

    Hello All,

    Happy New Year to all.

I did not think that I would be posting for help so soon in the New Year!

I am . . . was running the latest VIX image and build. Turned the receiver on this morning and all the channels were messed up. Most were n/a's. I rescanned the satellites but that did not help.

I reset everything, abm, EPG but the problem still persisted. After the last scan, I restarted the receiver . . all I am getting now is that the box is restarting with a red light.

    Any help or advice please?

    Thank you.

    Yes buddy.. I would try a reflash of Vix 3 . 808

You could try a restore settings as well.. And if that does not work.. Reflash again and add all your settings manually..

My Uno was stuck with just a red light a few months back - turns out my 2yo had poured food & drink into the cam slot. I cleaned the board and a day later the box came back to life and has been ok since.

    Hello Djusteve, MrMister and Ronand,

    Sorry I missed your posts.

I tried to flash several images but they all failed as I kept getting the same.

I had a USB with image 773 on it. I tried that yesterday evening and hey presto it all came to life!

I dare not do any updates as fingers crossed, my bouquets, settings, EPG all seem to be doing what they should be.

I found that with the later images I was getting n/a's on the channel list everyday and the EPG was not populating properly.
