    HDD which way up...

Which way is the HDD on Solo2 supposed to be installed, some say shiny side up is correct, others say shiny side down is correct.

    Code:
    http://sataid.net/forum/showthread.p...-in-a-Vu-Solo2
This guy says that is correct but other guides showing on top, shiny side up is correct.

Would obviously rather use the recommended way so as not to cause any problems.

as per your other post please dont post live links, code them !!.

and again it makes no difference which way you mount the drive.

In the options bar above the reply box there is a # symbol, highlight the URL and press this to generate the coded brackets around it.

    Give it a try.

So a link to a site is not allowed? Even just a normal article or forum?

No one said links were not allowed, but they must be coded otherwise they use our bandwidth which we have to pay for, as long as you code the link as described above you can post ALMOST any link you want ( no porn etc ).

I was simply asking, hence the question mark.

That is quite interesting and isn't something I knew. I had no idea it uses more bandwidth.
Could you explain why having a link uses more bandwidth, the technical side of it.
