I had a similar issue when I used a new usb stick the receiver just wouldn't recognise it. I went back to my old usb2 stick and all was well again.

1- Make sure no other USB-ports are in use
    2- Try other USB-port
3- If in the end nothing works, you can also flash via ImageManager.

    Try the following:

    1) Max Size 8GB USB stick.
    2) User REAR USB port.
    3) Format your USB stick FAT32 using this tool here http://www.world-of-satellite.com/sh...ve-Format-Tool

If the above doesn't work try with a GENUINE Kingston USB stick Formatted with the above HP Tool.
