thanks for the link m8. pretty much as i thought. fox italia was asking for trouble.
13.0 hotbird? wtf. easily received in the u.k. 26.0E. not as easy as you go north.
but pretty easy down sowf. the only way i can see jsc being allowed to show 3p.m
matches again is if its broadcast from 7.0w only. the other problem of course. is.
al jazeera is not secure. both irdeto and viacess are readable with emu´s. that will
most likely be changing though, as, its pretty certain they are going with dedicated
    box as admc did previously.

The only way Premier League is going to stop "illegal" viewing of 3PM games is to stop selling that particular package to broadcasters in the first place.
IPTV is the future, so in the long run it won't matter if you can't access footie on satellite if you are off the provider's footprint as it will be streamed over the internet.
I personally don't think that the Premier League will offer the 3pm package worldwide when new contracts are negotiated because IPTV is going to be impossible to police.
I really fear for the purist satellite enthusiasts, FTA rubbish is all we are going to be able to clear via our LNB'S!!!!

the only way to stop illegal viewing is to provide affordable legal means.

yes but it also means that any card released wont work on aftermarket hardware such as say a Duo2 until such a time as or if a solution is discovered.

I have a feeling there is going to be a rapid decrease in sales of STB's with all these card pairing systems coming into play. Would be a real shame that users would no longer have the choice of using their own hardware.

maybe, maybe not. The Australians lost the ability to use their cards in any thing but a official receiver well over a year ago and to my knowledge this has not changed yet.

Not really, If that happens I will ditch my subscription so they wont get getting £600 every year and stick with the FTV/A channels and use the boxes other immense capabilities

ADMC in 2010 when they won the rights for the EPL in the menna region,
the same as al jazeera have the rights to from 2013 to 2016. ADMC used
a dedicated humax recivever, with card and imbedded chip. That system
stayed secure for the three years they had the premier league from any
form of piracy. We have known from the outset that al jaz were going to
go the same route as of next year. this is why all cards will expire on
31st may 2014. the only reason this was not done this year. Was because
there simply was not enough time to roll the system out. the deal with for
the EPL rights was not signed till 16th july. cards were not available till the
beginning of augast. al jazeera knew from the outset their encryption was
not secure. they just hoped to get through 6 months without the EPL jumping
on their case. it´s backfired on them so now limited 3 pm games untill the new
    boxes hit the market.

It's less than £10 per month for all JSC channels legit anyway. People probably pay more to CS without realising it!
