    Will i have to change bootloader??

    i was wondering if i have to change the bootloader on my quad to try open mips etc??

    no you dont. Once youve flashed with bootloader theres no need to keep flashing with bootloader.

    No need to flash a bootloader on HD Quad. Factory installed bootloader is fine.

    Don't you have to flash a different image for the teamred image? i had to on mine, it was a fairly new box too, only a couple of month old

    You have to flash any new image you want to try..

    Think of it this way.. If your laptop / pc runs on Windows 7.. Then You cant use Windows 8 until you format your lappy/pc and install Windows 8..

    Images are basically the same..

    thanks guys, at least i know i dont have to change the bootloader if i want to try images on my quad. like vix aatm but want to try teamred but if its rubbish ill be going back to vix

    That's Not Technically True Mr. Mister... You Can Have Multiple OS's On A Laptop/Desktop In Different Partitions, And Then Use A Bootloader If Necessary To Boot Them... I Used To Have 4 Different OS's On My System For Testing, But These Days I Use Virtual OS's...

    I was merely trying to explain that if your lappy is running windows 7.. That it wont run windows 8 until you put it on..

    Jeeze.. Sometimes you guys are hard work.. .. Head and brick wall come to mind..
